Recovery Groups

One-on-one sessions can be intimidating and overwhelming, especially for clients in the pre-contemplation and contemplation stages of their journey. There is power in fostering group interaction, sharing stories, and light activities to engage a client towards success.

Unintimidating

Light, unintimidating formatting so clients who are in a sensitive stage of their recovery journey can gain exposure and confidence.

Topic Sessions

Coping strategies, trigger awareness, real-world recovery application, shame & guilt, and more.

Activities

Recovery bingo, yoga, mindful meditation, food contests, and more. Engaging activities that enable healing.

Points of Progress

Structured recovery planning based around real-world needs, such as how to obtain a state ID, or how to schedule medical appointments, or how to open a bank account.

Emotional Release

As group sessions foster a sense of community and accountability, many clients find an emotional release.

Relapse Prevention

We use leading methodologies to discuss the challenging topic of relapse prevention + vigilant awareness of triggers.
