Recovery Moments at Serenity Stables

Recovery does not always happen in a meeting room.

Recently, residents from SafeSide Recovery’s Leona House had the opportunity to spend time at Serenity Stables, where one quiet moment between a resident and Kevin, a former police horse, captured something special.

Experiences like this give residents opportunities to step outside the routine of sober living, build connection, practice being present, and experience recovery in new ways.

We’re grateful to Serenity Stables Foundation for welcoming our residents and creating meaningful experiences for people in recovery.
