The goal is more than providing a substance-free place to stay. SafeSide helps residents strengthen recovery, build stability, develop practical skills, and move toward greater independence.

SafeSide is a peer-led recovery organization. Peer support is part of the environment surrounding residents at Leona House, not simply an add-on to housing.
Peer professionals can help residents identify goals, work through practical challenges, navigate resources, strengthen accountability, and stay connected to recovery.
Residents may also work with clinical, medical, recovery, and community providers based on their individual needs. SafeSide respects appropriate provider choice.
